Exploring and switching to new alternatives is the need of hour. To promote this aspect, Chem-E-Car is an AIChE trademark event, conducted every year  under guidelines of  principles of chemical engineering. In this, students design small-scale automobiles that operate by chemical means, sticking to the official rules. Along with it they present a poster describing their research. Continuing the  tradition Chem-e-car is conducted every year in VIT. Various in-house as well as external teams participate in it.
